For a long time, I couldn’t understand why rooms never responded to me the way they seemed to respond to other women.

On paper, everything about me looked fine. I looked good. I had my life together. I carried myself well. But every time I stepped into social spaces, something felt… off.

So I told myself what a lot of women tell themselves. “I just like being alone.” “I’m protecting my peace.”

Years of being alone had trained my nervous system to shut down around people. So even when I went out looking confident, my body was unconsciously signaling distance.

Once I understood that, I became obsessed with learning how magnetism actually works.
